How to save on cooling costs
A few weeks ago, a group of cool technology enthusiasts in San Francisco gathered at the San Francisco Public Library to show off some cool clothing technology.
One of the coolest technologies they showcased was a new thermostat for the smart phone that’s powered by a thermostatic fan.
The thermostatically-controlled fan is made of an aluminum alloy with copper wires and is powered by solar energy, the company said.
The idea is that the fan generates heat when it’s running and cools when it stops, which allows for longer battery life and more energy efficient cooling.
The device is called the Coolest Thermostat.
The cooling fan is a piece of the cool technology ecosystem that is powered and regulated by a fan that’s cooled by a thermal conductivity sensor.
The sensor measures the amount of heat generated by the fan.
When the fan is running, the sensor registers the temperature of the fan, and when the fan stops, the temperature drops.
Cooler thermostats, which are powered by batteries, are more efficient at cooling.
They use less energy.
The Coolest Temperature Sensor was developed by San Francisco-based Cool Technology, which sells its cooling technology to retailers and companies for $199.

In an effort to save energy, Cool Technology used batteries to power the fan and the sensors.

The technology is not new.
Cool Technologies was the first company to develop a cool-tech cooling system for the iPhone in 2013.
Cool Tech, which also sells its cool technology products to the likes of Lowe’s and the Ford Motor Company, said the Cooliest Thermostatic Fan was built using a Raspberry Pi.
The cooler has a heat sink, which is a small hole drilled into the side of the cooler, and it uses solar energy to cool the fans.
The temperature of each fan is measured in degrees Celsius, which can be used to measure the amount heat is generated.
The fan also generates power by connecting a solar panel to a USB-to-DC adaptor.
CoolTech said the device has a temperature sensor and battery, and can operate at low voltages or with a low battery voltage.
The coolest thermostate has an integrated circuit that is a temperature sensitive amplifier.
The amplifier controls the fan’s voltage.
A sensor detects the temperature and stores that information.
